Our travel in 2014 2014 was the year that we went from casual travel users to wild-eyed travel addicts. And, following in the footsteps of the late Amy Winehouse we won't go to rehab. We say "no, no, no" (but we do hope for a happier outcome). So, without further reference to dead rock stars here's our 2014 travel year in review: Doha What we liked: The … [Read more...]
2013 in review – no wonder we’re tired!
It was a dark and stormy night. No wait, it was a bright and sunny day and Blonde and Brunette were out and about on a dolphin-delight wave runner tour of the Everglades with Captain Ron's. Brunette had purchased a condo on Marco Island, Florida in the summer of 2012 and this was her first official snow-bird winter. The gun may not have been golden but the … [Read more...]
Weekly Photo Challenge: Renewal
Outside of Chaing Mai in Thailand Blonde was observing this tender scene of a mother elephant and her nursing baby. At the conclusion of the feeding the mother put her trunk down into a mud puddle, filled it and enthusiastically snorted a mud/snot waterfall all over Blonde. Apparently the mother wasn't pleased by the presence of Blonde observing this heartwarming scene. It … [Read more...]
